ESTAŞ produces grey and ductile iron in its own foundry. ESTAŞ TAVA’s cast-iron cookware is made within this manufacturing background, where molten metal is formed in moulds.

Once out of the mould, each casting is cleaned, deburred and surface-finished. Only after these stages does the piece begin its preparation for the kitchen.

ESTAŞ TAVA cookware is sold uncoated. Its official guide states that the first seasoning is applied at the factory, while routine seasoning continues throughout use.
ESTAŞ grew from its Sivas manufacturing base into foundry, R&D and other production fields. ESTAŞ TAVA is the cookware business within that structure.

The ESTAŞ foundry was established; grey and ductile iron production began in-house.

The R&D Center formally received its ministry certificate on 11 August 2011.
Uncoated cast-iron pans and pots produced through ESTAŞ's foundry capabilities entered the market under ESTAŞ TAVA.

We did not start with the idea of building a cookware brand. ESTAŞ has manufactured in Sivas since 1977. What began with camshafts grew into an operation with its own foundry, machining and R&D capabilities.
ESTAŞ TAVA came out of that operation. The first pieces were made because we wanted uncoated cast-iron pans and pots for our own kitchens. When people asked for them, we expanded the range and made cookware a separate business.
The principle is still simple: understand the material, control the process and avoid hiding it beneath unnecessary coatings. Our cookware is sold uncoated and receives its first seasoning at the factory.
